Contact form

Spam protection, hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots, which looks at similar technical signals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and free of spam. Cloudflare keeps this information only briefly.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites. Turnstile may store small technical data in your browser only to perform its spam check.

The pre-save widget is provided by Show.co. It loads only if you click “Pre-save”; until then nothing from Show.co is loaded. Once it loads, Show.co may use cookies, and its own privacy policy applies, including when you connect your Spotify or Apple Music account to pre-save.

Links to other services

Links on this site take you to services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram and our pre-save page. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there.

Who else sees your information

Only the service providers named above, and our email provider for messages that reach our inbox. We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.

International transfers

Vest Willage Music is based in Canada. The European Commission recognizes Canada as providing adequate protection for personal information handled by businesses. Cloudflare is a US company. Where your information goes to the US, it is protected by Cloudflare’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, receive a copy of it, or object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this doesn’t affect anything done before. To make a request, use the contact form or write to us at the address above. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority in the EU country where you live, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
